Are donations to the Braves Club tax deductible?
Yes, however because of the football and basketball ticket benefits associated with Braves Club membership, the IRS dictates that only 80% of the first $1000 of all gifts to the Braves Club can qualify as tax deductible. However, if you choose to forfeit these associated Braves Club benefits, you can claim 100% of your gift as tax deductible. Braves Club members should consult with a tax professional for tax advice.


What makes me a Braves Club member?
You are considered a Braves Club member with any of the following gift types: Braves Club, 1st and Ten Campaign, sport specific operations, or any athletic scholarship. The membership term is from July 1st through June 30th. Your membership level is based on annual giving. Pledge amounts will be honored by amount paid toward pledge in each membership term.

What benefits are associated with the Braves Club?
Any gift amount will positively impact the student-athlete’s experience at UNC Pembroke. The Braves Club has five (5) membership levels. Benefit chart available on the Braves Club page and in the brochure.


What is the Braves Club Bonus Memento?
The Braves Club Bonus Memento is a small token of appreciation for members at the $500 and $1000 level. The gift is mailed out each summer, and the qualification is based on annual giving for the previous membership term.


How can I purchase football season tickets?
Braves Club members at the $100 level and above have the option to purchase season tickets to football and basketball. The season ticket holders from last year will have first right to renew their season ticket packages for the following year provided they are still members at the appropriate level. Once all renewal orders have been processed, a new season ticket brochure will be mailed to qualifying members. The new orders will be filled on a first received basis. Quantities are limited for football.


How do I receive a parking pass for the Caring Touch Reserved Parking Lot #24?
The Caring Touch Parking Reserved Parking Lot #24 is available to season ticket holders at the $250, $500, and $1000 levels. Parking passes will be included in the season ticket package mailings. One (1) parking pass will be provided for every four (4) season tickets. The parking spaces in this lot are numbered to match the corresponding parking pass. Please do not park in a parking space not matching your parking pass number. If you are in need of disabled parking for the entire season, please contact Brian Russo (910-775-4339) to arrange for one (1) disabled parking space to be issued to you for the entire season. Proof of a VALID state issued Disabled Parking tag or license plate will be required for this option at time of request. Additionally, the VALID state issued Disabled Parking tag or license plate MUST be displayed when parking in the disabled parking space on game days. *On game days, disabled parking is available in this parking lot on a first come-first received basis. Parking attendants will provide game day parking passes at the entrance to the parking lot if the vehicle is displaying a VALID state issued Disabled Parking tag or license plate. Each of these parking passes corresponds to a matching disabled parking space. Vehicles parking in a disabled space without a VALID state issued Disabled Parking tag or license plate will be towed at the owner’s expense.


What other parking options are available if I do not have season tickets?
For anyone not purchasing season tickets, two other parking options are available. First, Lot #14 located directly in front of the English E. Jones Athletic Center has game day parking available for $10. This parking is first-come-first served spaces. Proceeds from this parking lot benefit the UNC Pembroke Wrestling program. Second, some parking lots on campus are available for free parking, however, NO tailgating activities (Tailgating Activities defined as alcohol consumption and/or gas/charcoal grilling) are allowed in these free parking areas.


Is tailgating allowed on the UNC Pembroke campus?
Yes, tailgating activities defined as alcohol consumption and/or gas/charcoal grilling is allowed in two (2) designated parking areas. The Caring Touch Reserved Parking Lot #24 and Lot #14 (located directly in front of the English E. Jones Athletic Center) are the ONLY areas for tailgating activities. Please visit the Age Identification table located in Lot #14 to receive a wristband indicating the person wearing the wristband is of legal drinking age. Charcoal bins and trash cans are located throughout these parking lots.


Who can take advantage of the Braves Club Pre-game football hospitality area?
Braves Club members at the $100, $250, $500, and $1000 levels purchasing a season ticket package will receive pregame hospitality passes for each home game in their season ticket package mailing. One (1) pass will be provided for each season ticket. Example: Two (2) season tickets will receive two (2) hospitality passes for each home game. The Braves Club Pre-game hospitality area will open two hours prior to kick-off and conclude a half-hour prior to kick-off. Menu and activities at the hospitality event are subject to change on a game by game basis.
