UNCP Has 67 Student-Athletes Named To Peach Belt Presidential Honor Roll
AUGUSTA, Ga. – A total of 67 UNCP student-athletes, including eight from the sports of wrestling, women’s soccer and volleyball, were among a record 844 individuals named to the 2007 Peach Belt Conference Presidential Honor Roll announced Wednesday by the league office.
The Presidential Honor Roll recognizes every student-athlete in a member institution who had a GPA of 3.0 or greater for the 2006-07 academic year. This year’s record number of student-athletes surpassed the old mark of 813 that was established in 2005. Ten of the league’s 12 member schools, including UNCP, increased their total from 2006.
