UNCP, Armstrong Atlantic To Debut PBC-Television On Saturday
AUGUSTA, Ga. - The UNC Pembroke and Armstrong Atlantic basketball teams will kick off what is expected to be an innovative way to watch Peach Belt Conference athletic events on Saturday when the squads debut on Peach Belt Television in their hardcourt doubleheader Saturday evening in Savannah, Ga.
PBC-TV, which has been in the works since the naming of league commissioner Dave Brunk in July, offers high resolution live sports action of all conference sports. Patrons are required to create an account and pay a low fee to witness live audion and video streaming. Windows Media Player, or other player capable of playing streaming Windows video, as well as a high speed DSL of Cable Internet connection, is recommended.
The Lady Braves (5-4, 0-2 PBC) will tip off Saturday's twinbill against AASU (7-2, 1-1)at 5:30 p.m. The UNCP men (6-3, 1-1) will take on the Pirates (7-2, 1-1) immediately following with an approximate start time of 7:30 p.m. Fans can also follow the game in progress via a live statistics link provided by the Armstrong Atlantic athletic department.
