Lumberton Ford, Carolina Automotive Group Continue Support Of UNCP
PEMBROKE – Lumberton Ford and the Carolina Automotive Group reaffirmed their continued support of UNCP athletics with the donation of two brand new automobiles in an official ceremony on Monday afternoon at the Caton Fieldhouse.
The vehicles – a 2008 Ford Fusion and a 2008 Mercury Mariner – are both emblazoned with the UNCP athletic department logo and the Carolina Automotive Group insignia, as well as a selected athletic picture wrapped into the background of both. The Fusion sports a picture of the English E. Jones Center, while the Mariner features a photo of the football team running out prior to the Greensboro game last season.
The Fusion will be utilized daily by athletic director Dan Kenney, while the Mariner will be primarily used by the UNCP football coaching staff for recruiting and other official business.
“Carolina Automotive Group’s Lumberton Ford Lincoln Mercury and Mullins Motors are excited about the years of continuous support of UNCP athletics,” said Craig McMillian, Lumberton Ford’s business development manager. “In addition to the vehicles, Carolina Automotive Group will contribute $100 to the Braves Club for each vehicle purchased with the UNCP Braves discount coupon.”
The discount coupon can be found at the official Internet home of the UNCP athletic department, UNCPBraves.com, and will entitle the holder to $500 worth of customized savings on their vehicle purchase. Carolina Automotive Group has two locations with hundreds of vehicles to choose from and is always online at www.CarolinaAutomotiveGroup.com.
