UNCP To Host Golf Tournament As Part Of Two Rivers Classic Events
PEMBROKE – Athletic department officials
at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke announced on
Thursday that a golf tournament has been planned as part of the
events leading up to the second annual Two Rivers Classic on
September 4 at Grace P. Johnson Stadium.
The tournament, which will directly benefit athletic scholarships
at UNCP, will be held on Thursday, July 29 at 1 p.m. The
Captain’s Choice-style tournament is open to the general
public and the tournament will get underway with a shotgun start at
1 p.m. at Pinecrest Country Club in Lumberton.
Entry fees are $300 for teams, as well as $75 for individuals.
Entry fees include a golf shirt, lunch and on-course refreshments.
