UNCPBraves.com Adds Text Message Updates To Features
PEMBROKE – UNCP fans can now get the most
up to date information on their favorite athletic team via cell
phone as UNCPBraves.com added text message updates to its arsenal
of new features on Thursday evening, athletic department officials
announced.
Fans wishing to take part in this newest feature will be required
to submit both their email address, cell phone carrier and cell
phone number at the text message update sign up page. Final scores,
as well as intermittent score updates on different events, will be
distributed with this service. “Breaking” news, as well
as other important headlines, will also be sent out by the service
as well.
In order to change a specific subscription, or to be removed from
the text message update service, fans will be required to return to
UNCPBraves.com and log in with their email address in order to
adjust specific options.
Launched in early July, UNCPBraves.com shattered a number of user
