NEW ORLEANS – The postseason honors began to roll in for the UNC Pembroke track & field squads on Monday when the Braves sent six student-athletes to the United States Track & Field and Cross County Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Southeast Region squad, the organization announced.
 
Christian Ceccato, Javon Graham, Michael Powell and J.C. Smith were all lauded with the honors on the men's side, while Jeanna Cuba and Lashonda Tate picked up the accolades for the women's team. The release marked the second-straight year that Ceccato, Cube and Graham have earned all-region nods, while Powell, Smith and Tate picked up the accolade for the first time in their careers.
 
The top-5 individuals in each event from each region earned All-Region distinction, in addition to each of the members of the regions' top-3 relay teams. The regions used for this award – Atlantic, Central, East, Midwest, South, South Central, Southeast and West – match those used during the cross country season.
