From directions to ticket information, as well as hotel listings, here is your guide to having a successful trip to UC Stadium in Charleston, W.Va., on Saturday as the Braves begin a three-game road trip at Charleston out of the West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WVIAC). THE COACHES: Charleston head coach Pat Kirkland is in his first season at the helm of the Golden Eagles. UNCP head coach Pete Shinnick is 31-17 (.646) in his fifth season with the Braves.
THE SERIES: Saturday's matchup will mark the first meeting in the series between the two schools.
LAST TIME OUT: Charleston accumulated more than 700 yards of total offense in registering its first victory of the season with a 49-35 road victory over conference rival Seton Hill. UNCP a school-record 668 yards of total offense and broke the program's scoring record as well in a 58-38 victory over Tusculum on Homecoming.
