Played in 26 games with 24 starts to his credit… Named the 2009 Peach Belt Conference Freshman of the Year… Named to the North Carolina Collegiate Sports Information Association's (NCCSIA) College Division All-State Men's Basketball Second Team… Ranked 12th in the PBC in scoring with a 14.1 points per game average in conference games… Finished 10th in the conference in free throw percentage with a mark of .853 during league contests… Led the team in scoring average with 13.5 points per game… Second on team in total points with 351… Led team with 36 three-point field goals made… Second on team with .823 free throw percentage… second on team with 27.7 minutes per game average… Second on the team with 2.3 assists per game… averaged 2.7 rebounds per game… Season-high 29 points in win over Francis Marion on Feb. 3… five games with 20+ points… Season-high seven rebounds on two occasions… Season-high six assists on two occasions. 

HIGH SCHOOL 
Attended Wilson High School... Averaged 22.0 points, 6.0 assists and 4.7 rebounds per game as a senior... Led the Tigers to a 25-4 record and a second round appearance in the South Carolina state playoffs... Was named the Shootout by the Sea tournament MVP, the Buddy Rogers Invitational MVP and was a finalist for the 2009 Mr. Hoopzone Award as a senior... Was also a participant in the 2009 North Carolina/South Carolina All-Star Game - one of only 10 players in the state of South Carolina to be chosen for the event... During his junior campaign, he averaged 18.0 points, 5.0 assists and 3.2 rebounds per contest... Was named the WHS team MVP, while also being named to the Buddy Rogers Classic and Holiday Classic all-tournament teams... Voted WHS’s most improved player as a junior.
