Walor Fails To Make Cut At U.S. Amateur Championship
UNIVERSITY PLACE, Wash. – UNCP junior
golfer Jordan Walor rebounded from a rough first
round at the U.S. Amateur Championship Tuesday, but his improved
second round score was not enough to bring him back as he failed to
make the cut with +13 score during his two-rounds of match
play.
Walor finished his second round with four birdies, six pars and
eight bogeys en route to a four-over score of 76 on the Home Course
at Chambers Bay Golf Club in University Place, Wash. That
round followed his nine-over score of 80 yesterday on the Chambers
Bay course.
Walor and the rest of the UNCP men's golf squad will open up
their 2010-2011 season on Sept. 18 at the Honda of Columbia
Fall Classic hosted by Newberry College in Prosperity, S.C.
Walor's full scorecard can be found HERE.
