Braves Jump To No. 15 In Golfstat Rankings
BLOOMINGTON, Ill. – Following a pair of top-five finishes at the Honda of Columbia Fall Classic and the and the Myrtle Beach Intercollegiate, the UNCP men's golf squad moved up 17 spots to No. 15 in this week's edition of the Golfstat.com head-to-head rankings, the website announced Wednesday.
The Braves, No. 32 in last week's rankings, finished tied for third out of a field of 13 at the Myrtle Beach Intercollegiate on Monday and Tuesday in Sunset Beach. Earlier this year, they finished third out of 15 squads at the Honda of Columbia Fall Classic. Senior Jordan Walor took home medalist honors at the Fall Classic, his second win at the tournament during his UNCP career.
UNCP will next be in action on October 17-18 at the Will Wilson Southeast Preview on Clemmons.
