Men's Soccer Releases Spring Schedule
PEMBROKE – The UNCP men’s soccer team will battle eight squads over four different dates, including a home contest with region rival St. Andrews, as part of the 2010 UNCP men’s soccer spring schedule released by head coach Phil Hindson on Thursday morning.
The Braves will open up their spring campaign on March 23 against the Knights in Pembroke, locking horns in a 7 p.m. match up at Varsity Grounds. Four days later (March 27), UNCP will take part in a multi-team tournament at UNC Greensboro where it will battle Lees McRae, as well as a pair of NCAA Division I squads in UNC Greensboro and East Tennessee State.
The Black and Gold will close out its spring slate with a pair of road dates, first traveling to Mount Olive on April 7 for a 7 p.m. tilt against the Trojans and then making the short trip to Methodist on April 10 to face Barton, Methodist and a club team from the University of North Carolina.
