Sean Brennan enters his second year on the UNCP men’s soccer coaching staff during the spring semester of 2011. A former collegiate goalkeeper, Brennan will work with both the UNCP men’s and women’s soccer programs as a goalkeeping coach.  He comes to UNCP following a two-year stint as the assistant men’s soccer coach at Mount Olive College in Mount Olive, N.C.

Brennan also earned coaching experience at Clemson, Duke and N.C. State soccer camps and has worked with numerous prep programs in North Carolina and Virginia, including a stint as the head boys coach at Terry Sanford High School in Fayetteville where he was named Two Rivers Conference Coach of the Year (2008).

A player for Methodist University in Fayetteville, N.C., from 2004-07, Brennan earned USA South All-Conference and All-Tournament selections during his senior season, and is 10th all-time at Methodist in goals against average. During his time at Methodist, Brennan also traveled and played in Europe and South America.

He holds a National Goalkeeping Diploma, a National Coaching Diploma and an Advanced National Coaching Diploma from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) and also works as the Director of Coaching for the Fayetteville Force Soccer Club in Fayetteville.

He earned a bachelor’s of science degree in marketing with a concentration in sports management from Methodist University in December of 2008. He currently resides in Fayetteville and is working on his masters.
