Giovanni Bilotta ran a time of 34:19.1 in the 10k and Ivy Ramsey ran a time of 24:16.6 in the 6k as the two Braves competed at the NCAA II South Regional on Saturday morning.

The UNCP men’s cross country team finished fourth among non-Division I institutions and ninth out of 18 total schools on Saturday morning at the Citadel Invitational at James Island County Park just outside of Charleston, S.C.

UNCP Men’s Cross Country turned in a fifth place finish at the Adidas Raleigh Invitational on Friday afternoon at the SAS Complex as the Braves finished first among Division II schools competing in the event.

For the second week in a row Giovanni Bilotta and Jesse McEntire were the top two finishers for the Braves as UNCP finished third at the 36th Annual UNCP Cross Country Invitational at Luther Britt Park on Saturday morning.

UNCP’s Jesse McEntire was named the Peach Belt Conference’s Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week for the week of Sept. 4th, after leading the Braves to a first place finish at the 2007 Gamecock Invitational.

Jesse McEntire ran a time of 16:20.74 and Giovanni Bilotta clocked in at 16:41.02 as the two Braves finished first and second at the 2007 Gamecock Invitational helping lead UNCP to the team championship at the event on Friday afternoon at Hilton Field
