After receiving Peach Belt Conference All-Academic Team accolades, senior Kristen Hobbs garnered a spot on the CoSIDA/Capital One Academic All-District III Softball Team as the only Lady Brave to grace the squad, the organization announced on Friday.

Kristen Hobbs, Natalie Klemann and Kellie Van Dyke were the three athletes from UNCP to be named to the 2012 Peach Belt Conference softball all-academic team and were among 19 given all-academic status, the league office released Wednesday afternoon.

UNCP Softball To Offer Winter Clinic On January 21
The UNCP softball coaching staff announced on Wednesday that the Braves will offer a Winter Clinic on January 21. The cost of the clinic is $25 ($20 each for teams of eight or more) and the clinic is open to girls ages 8 to 18.
