Attended East Bladen High School for coach Patty Evers … Collected numerous accolades as a senior including first team all-conference, state tournament most valuable player, Eastern Regional Tournament Team and Time-Warner Cable Christmas All-Tournament Team laurels while averaging 14.3 points, 5.8 rebounds and 2.8 steals per game … As a junior, she garnered all-conference, East Regional most valuable player, Star News Player of the Year, NCBCA Region 4 first team and Fayetteville Observer second team honors … A member of the NCHSAA Student-Athlete Panel where she averaged 13.7 points, 6.8 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 3.0 steals … Totaled 1,514 points, 678 rebounds, 346 steals and 384 assists in her high school career.

PERSONAL
The daughter of Johnnie McGill and Kary Kemp … Has two older sisters, Jerlisa and JaToya … JaToya played for UNCP from 2007-2011 and currently ranks 12th all-time with 1,310 career points in the Black and Gold … Received awards in both chemistry and geometry and is a member of the Beta Club … A biology major at UNCP.
