20 Questions With Women’s Basketball's Anya Knower
UNCPBraves.com sat down with junior forward Anya Knower to learn of her opinion on a variety of topics ranging from her gameday superstitions to how she wants to be remembered when she leaves Pembroke. The Raleigh native has played in all six games this season for the Black and Gold along with garnering five starts. She has totaled 109 minutes on the court, and currently averages 18.2 minutes per game. The 6-2 forward is second on the team with a 77.8 percent free throw shooting percentage, and has pulled down 11 rebounds this season. She is second on the team in blocks with four, and has dished out three assists. She has collected 33 points to average 5.5 points per game.
Since starting her career at UNCP, she has tallied more than 640 minutes of action in 60 games to post 189 points. She tied her career-best ten points against Queens on November 19, and played a career-high 24 minutes in the victory over Fayetteville State on November 29.
