AS A SOPHOMORE (2010)
Played in all 22 games with 21 starts to her credit… Led the team with a total of 2,015 minutes on the field… Named PBC Defensive Player of the Week on Oct. 12… Scored 10 points on five goals… Took 33 shots, 15 of which (.455) were on goal… Logged a season-best 110 minutes on the field twice (Wingate, Lander)… Collected four game-winning goals against Flagler, Clayton State, USC Aiken (penalty kick in the 67th minute) and Georgia Southwestern (recorded the first and last goals)… Was 2-of-2 in penalty kicks on the season … Tallied a season-best seven shots with two on goal in the victory over St. Andrews… Registered four shots against Barton… Registered three shots apiece against Flagler, Montevallo and Clayton State… Played in all 90 minutes in the first and second rounds of the NCAA Tournament against Pfeiffer and Armstrong Atlantic… Helped UNCP defense tie the school record with 14 shutouts… Helped the UNCP defense finish second in the nation with a .913 saves percentage as a squad… Contributed to the UNCP defense that finished 12th in the nation and led the conference with a 0.53 goals against average and finished tied for the PBC lead with 0.55 goals allowed per game… Helped the UNCP defense finish ninth in the nation with a .636 shutout percentage.
AS A FRESHMAN (2009)
Played in 12 games for UNCP with a trio of starts to her credit… Scored six points on a pair of goals and two assists… Took 10 shots, five of which (.500) were on goal… Scored first collegiate point on the game-winning assist at Lenoir-Rhyne and booked first collegiate goal against Erskine… Registered the eventual game-winning score on a penalty kick at North Georgia… Booked only other point of season on an assist against Queens… Played every minute of UNCP’s win over St. Andrews.
HIGH SCHOOL
Prepped at Jacksonville High School for Coach D. Miller… A four-year letterman for the Cardinals in soccer and basketball… Twice named Female Athlete of the Year and was a two-time All-Area honorable mention in basketball… Played for the OCSA ’90 Coastal Crew team coached by Roger Carrol… Prior to coming to UNCP Padilla helped the Coastal Crew team roll to a 29-2-2 record… A member of the Coastal team when they were named 2009 U.S. club national champions as well as CESA Classic champions, two-time Region III Premiere league champions, NICK Cup champions, Matt Helms Cup champions and the Raleigh Shootout champions… Held a 3.3 GPA.
