Garnered Peach Belt Conference Presidential Scholar accolades as a Silver Scholar … Set a new personal record in the 5000m run at the NCAA Division II Southeast Regionals with a  time of 22:52.10 to place sixth overall … Finished first and set a new personal record in the 3000m run at the Braves Classic with a time of 12:14.40 at the Braves Classic and finished fifth with a time of  12:26.60 at the Johnson C. Smith Invitational … Competed in the 800m run at the UNCW/Seahawk Invitational (28th, 2:52.37) and at the Weems Baskin Invitational (30th, 2:55.81) … Finished 29th in the 1500m run with a time of 5:52.07 at the Weems Baskin Invitational … Also competed in the 1500m run at the UNCW/Seahawk Invitational (34th, 5:52.87) and at the Charlotte Invitational (28th, 5:54.12).

Daughter of Stanley and Robin Long … Has two brothers, Abram and Joshua and two sisters, Vanessa and Madison … On the Scholar’s List for three consecutive academic years 2005-08 … Participated in mentoring and was also a member of the yearbook staff, softball team, soccer team and basketball team … Mother played softball, volleyball, soccer and basketball at Methodist.
